What is SMART repair?
SMART is an acronym for "Small-Medium Area Repair Technique".
The majority of cars will receive damage at some point in its lifecycle. Unfortunately, dents, chips, scrapes and scuffs to your paintwork can significantly decrease the value of your car and any kind of break in the paintwork will eventually lead to rust.
A word of advice - "Not all SMART repairs are the correct solution to repair damage on your vehicle".
It is advisable that you have any vehicle damage appraised first before commencing with any SMART repair solution. We strongly recommend consulting one of our in-house technicians who will advise you on the best repair solution for the damage, as in some cases the damage may be too severe for a SMART repair and require the use of a body shop. The prevention of corrosion is in its self a solid reason to have any damage corrected. Just by looking at any Car Price Guide, you will see that the price difference between a car currently in poor condition and a car currently in excellent condition can run into thousands of pounds. So fixing the damage in the most cost-effective way will not only maintain the value of the car but also maintains the appearance of the car.
If you are a lease car owner or a PCP lease car owner (Personal Contract Purchase) then a SMART repair is the preferred option for repairing cars due for return to the lease or PCP company.
