Accident Clean-up Question from Jo Warren
Submitted on 27/07/2009
We are thinking of buying a second hand Renault in a private sale. The car is currently owned by a smoker so we don't want to buy it without being confident we can get rid of the smell. Also it has scuffs along both sides of the car. Can you give us a rough (and I know it will be very rough) of likely cost of putting these things right? Thanks Jo Model: Renault Espace
You have got a 90% chance of getting rid of the smoke smell first time if we do it. However some cars car be harder than others.
If the previous owner has smoked in it for the last two years and hasn't used the ashtray, then they can be a little more difficult, but we are used to doing cars that have been in fires. So we do have a very good range of products for removing odours.
To remove the smoke smell you first need to have an interior valet That start from £96 including vat. Then you will need our odourkill service which is ££39.95. Then because its smoke it would also need fogging, Which cost £29.95 .
The body work is impossible to advise as we will need some pictures.
If you want to call us, maybe you could describe the damage over the phone.
