Accident Clean-up Question from Shelley Morris
Submitted on 12/09/2009
Shelley called me by phone so no e-mail or question was uploaded through our Q&A system. But we thought this would be a great one to put on the system. The couple are currently speaking with there insurance company and are hoping to replimish some of the cost of the work we carried out.
We recently had a Toyota Prius in with us, which as you can see has had a reasonable amount of emultion paint spilt in the rear footwell. Shelley the owner had contacted me literally straight after the accident happened. The phone call was just before we was due to shut. I advised to keep the area as wet as possible by using wet towels. Luckilly this was a waterbased paint so it was much easier to deal with. Some of the spillage had gone beyond the carpet and into the floor heater. So the interior needed to be removed to get the end result.
