Buying and Selling Question from Chris.snell

Submitted on 06/11/2009

The car is in superb condition, mot till June 2010, has a genuine 26,500 miles on the clock and has full service history, I am the 2nd owner since new. I live in Cornwall and am planning to sell it for cash to the garage where I bought it 12 months ago. Model: Suzuki alto 1.1gl

If you plan to sell it to the trade, then you should expect to get a trade price for it. So I recommend you pay for a valuation or even two, then if you want, you can work out the difference between what you would get if you were to sell it private.

Here's a useful link to a page that gives you lots of places you can value your car and on the do it your self valuation there's a  sellers guide, where if you did decide to sell it private, it tells you all the other things to do to make the sale work.
