hi i have a Vauxhall Astra 56 reg black. the plastic cover on my passenger side mirror came off while i was driving along the motorway after i think it came loose while going through a car wash i have looked everywhere for a replacement with no luck plz hela if any ideas thanks vince. seaford west sussex. Model: vauxhall astra

Call your dealer, they should be a stock item, so you may want to just go there. Check that there are no broken clips as a car wash shouldn't cause it to come loose and a motorway shouldn't cause it to come off.

Sometimes you can buy them already coloured and sometimes they are in primer ready to paint. Its an easy job for a bodyshop or a Smart Repair technician. Should cost about £40 to £60 to paint it. That sounds like a lot in know but the paint has to be mixed, then it may need  be priming again the the paint then the final gloss lacquer.

If you do have to have it painted then ask them to put it on for you as there is a nack to those things.

Lovely picture.
