I would like to know the best way to clean paint splatter off the paintwork of a van. The paint is an exterior waterbase weathershield. I live near Exeter. I would be very greatful if you could help. Model: ford van
All Paints are different, But waterbased is the best of the bunch as far as splatter on cars go.
There various ways you can remove it. From Strong cleaners to Machine polishing, All of which can come with a risk. So take precautions if your not 100% sure what your actually doing. It could end up costing you alot more to put the unessercary problem right.
One of the classic attempts we see alot of is a scoering pad (the green things for washing saucepans) DO NOT try this.
We have made an article for paint splatter. You may want to watch the video for some pointers.
