Leather Restoration Question from Jon Marsh
Submitted on 19/07/2010
I have a project for you - just bought a 1994 Porsche 928 GTS. It's in good original condition, inside and out but that means on the inside, it's looking a bit tired and could benefit from some of your expertise. It has blue leather seats - no tears or rips, but I would be keen to get the whole thing buttonized to bring it back to its best - in particular, there is discolouration on the steering wheel and gear stick. There is also minor fading on some of the plastics. Overall, I'd be looking to have the leather and plastics seen to + valeting and I'm also interested in your leather smell product. Could I bring the car over on Wednesday around lunchtime? If so, could you give me an idea how long the work would take? e.g. could I pick it up again at the weekend? Thanks Jon (I am based in South West London) Model: Porsche 928 GTS
Yes I think we could do it over the days you want, but we would need to see some pictures of it, or if you can't do that, then if you call us while your with the car so we can ask a few questions, just to make sure your car is OK to do.
