Dent Removal Question from Simon Gibbs

Submitted on 16/08/2010

I'm in Epsom and need a 2 small dents (5p piece size) removed from the bonnet. Model: Mercedes CLK

They are a bit sharp, you are going to need a very good dent man and even then, you will be lucky to get them removed completely.

Then they look chipped in the middle, if they are, then they can only be touched in after, which will still show. Going that route, if your lucky,  will get you about a sixty to seventy percent improvement over all. If they are not chipped, then sixty to ninety percent.

The problem is, that the only way to guarantee to get them perfect, is to have the whole bonnet and the tops of the wings repaired and resprayed. My suggestion is to have a read of the page I have just linked to page,  then if your newly found very good dent tec can't do it, then have a look at this page. Expect to pay around £300-£400 for the bonnet to be resprayed and blended over the front wings.

There's an article (link)at the bottom of this page you are on called how to get the best from the aut trader, which will help you find a good body shop in your area.

Great pictures.
