Accident Clean-up Question from Jo Walker

Submitted on 13/09/2010

I have done a very stupid thing and removed some tar marks on my brand new Fiat 500 (only 3 months old) with some cream cleanser! They are random small patches near the bottom of the car on both sides and you can only notice them if you look carefully in a certain light. No good taking photos, you won't be able to see it! However, I know they are there and I guess I have scratched the surface. I have been told that a good professional valeter would make it as good as new! Can you please give me a quote. I am based in Chelmsford. Model: Fiat 500

Hi Jo

I Would not worry to much it sounds like its something that can be rectified.

My guess is not to damage has been caused to your new car.

What i will advise without seeing the car is to carry out some rotary polishing in the affected areas.

I would also check the car to make sure that all of the tar at the bottom is removed.

When its convenient for you contact me and i can advise you further + discuss booking options with you.
