Dent Removal Question from Jordan Donovan

Submitted on 28/04/2011

I have quite a large dent that looks like it could be pushed out. There are some scuffs to the paintwork but i am not worried about these. The dent is on the rear side passenger panel under the window. Looking to get this done in next couple of weeks. Model: VW Golf 3dr GT 2010 model

I would suggest you see if the scratches can be removed, even if you don't want to remove them at the same time. If they are too deep to be removed using Paint Correction, then I would suggest you take a view on the whole job, as to remove that dent, if we can do it, would cost somewhere between £80 and £120 plus vat. Then you could still have to repaint that and the panel next to it when you later address the scratches. Where as to let the bodyshop remove the dent would almost certainly be cheaper if they were going to respray it.

My Suggestion is the get the facts in front of you before you make up your mind.

If you wanted to bring it in and let us give you an opinion on the scratches, then make up your mind whats the best way for you. If you want to call us and then bring it in when our dent man is doing dents (we call this piggyback booking) then we can address it or try the dent and scratch without having to charge.

If you could remember your question number when you call.
