Dent Removal Question from Rich Brierley

Submitted on 21/05/2011

Hi Having swerved to avoid a truck I mounted a kerb which damaged the Front Off-side wheel at about 20 mph. Unfortunately the shock absorber didn't take all the impact as the tyre must have slightly impacted the Fr Nr side wing arch causing the damage shown. The dent is on the lip of the arch. There is also a little section sticking out where the wing joins the lower sill/next panel (passenger door). Unsure whether this means where it bolts in has damaged a little? I am based South London. Apologies for quality of images - it is quite difficuly to get a decent photograph. Model: Ford Focus Mk2

I can see its clearly dented / bent. I would suggest take it to Mick Rice. He's just down the road from us. I've seen him push panels and straighten them without having to repaint them. If that can be done, then great. If it needs repairing and then repainting, then he and his son are very good. People travel miles, lots from London, as the offer very good value for money. Here's a link to our finder, which will help you see how far you are from them.

Good Luck
