Accident Clean-up Question from Rolf Beattie
Submitted on 07/10/2008
Hi, I've recently bought a used ford KA. The car smells damp and the foam under the carpets front and back have retained water. The dealer insists this is because the carpets have been cleaned though they don't look very clean. Can you quote me for removal, drying and deodourising of carpets. Model: Ford KA2
I would suggest you get it checked out to make sure it hasnt beed flooded. If it had more water than you can now see, then your airbag control unit could have got wet. Even if your seat belt real/winder will corrode it time.
