How do you professional get your windows clean? I spend hours doing it and the still end up with smears. There has to be a trade secret? Clue me up please! Tony - Colchester Model: Scooby

The trick is to get them clean. That means washing them down... you can't just put your spray on windowlene type product on them and expect it to do what it says on the in.

So when you wash your car and you have a damp chamois leather in your hand (or microfibre cloth), get in and give all the insides of the windows a good wipe down. If it hasn't been done in a while, then do it again.
Your car's heater, air-con, mist and jus you breathing will deposit all sorts of gunk onto the inside of the windows which sits there in a sticky brown film. Soapy water is really the best thing for getting it off. With this done, what you should be left with is some water-marks -- you window cleaning product should have no problem getting rid of these, leaving your windows crystal clean.

Most window cleaners work well... even household products. But having a good microfibre cloth will make all the difference and make your life easier.

Good luck!
