Detailing Question from Alex Knight
Submitted on 05/02/2009
I appear to have a rather long-lasting smell that is hanging around in my car. I believe that the cause may be that a window was left open and some rainwater soaked in to the back seat, as there seems to be some stains in the upholstery. The smell is mainly that of mould. Normal cleaning products seem to have only short-term effects (have removed the stain), and after time the smell just keeps returning. With regards to location, I am a university student and divide my time between York and London (specifically Bromley). However, obviously as a student I am looking to remove this smell permanently for the cheapest amount of money. Therefore I was slightly puzzled by your price sheets as I would only be looking for odour removal services, not a full valet of the entire car. I would appreciate it if I could ascertain some kind of quote on how much this would cost by itself. I have left an email address for you to reply to. Many thanks, Alex Model: Fiat Panda Dynamic 2005 1.2
You don't have to do the outside to remove oder, or though we do on fire damaged cars but you do need to do the whole interior. All surfaces need to be cleaned to remove any smell that has contaminated the rest of the car, you see smells stick to all surfaces even the glass in fact the glass will attract more smell than fabric.
