Paintwork Correction Question from Chris Nowers
Submitted on 15/03/2009
Hi, During February's snow, the car was unfortunately scratched by a broom handle whilst clearing snow from the car. The scratches are on the bonnet, roof and a smaller scratch to the nearside rear quarter panel. In general, they are down to the undercoat and are able to be felt with a finger nail. Would it be possible to conduct a SMART repair on these? What would you recommend? The car is in HP11. Many thanks, Chris Model: '04 VW Golf
Its difficult to tell from the pictures how deep all of the scratches are. Some we maybe able to remove using paint correction, some maybe smart repair and possibly lastly bodyshop. I would suggest you book it in for paint correction, then we could save the pannels that can be saved (if any) then go from there.
We can also advise you on the best options as regards to options v price.
