Dent Removal Question from Simon Horrocks
Submitted on 27/04/2009
Hi, Please see attached pics, it's a front wing from an old Porshe 924 (single skin panel), looks like a shopping trolley dent.. The panel is not on the car - I need to get the ding out before refitting. Don't worry about the paintwork, I can tidy that up. Are you able to fix this sort of dent? Any questions, please give me a shout. I'm in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. Regards, Simon Horrocks Model:
This is not a dent for a novice. Our man is very good but this will be a hard one for him.
The wing is probably the easiest panel to do and in fact would be easer to do once the panel is back on the car. My suggestion is to try this article and that will help you find some one good where you live. Then send him your pictures and see if he's confident he can do it (most good dent men won't come to you because of too many misunderstandings). If not then call us, i will then get our man to look and confirm we can definitely do it, then bring the car here on its maiden voyage.
