What is the best ceramic coating for off-road and utility vehicles?
Off-road vehicles that are actually being used off-road take a lot of punishment and get very dirty. Let's face it, with all that gritty mud sprayed all over the vehicle, and it's driving under low hanging trees, it is pointless to try and keep the paintwork in showroom condition.
What is more important is a coating that will make the vehicle easy to clean and help protect against corrosion. A ceramic coating can certainly help with this. We would, however, recommend putting a sacrificial layer over the top, such as a hydrophobic spray on wax, which can be done quickly after each wash.
This is a subject we wish to experiment with in the future.
