Buying and Selling Question from Richard Slater

Head gasket has gone on the car so what is it worth if I was to sell it to someone willing to repair it? Good Points: New Radiator, Stat and Water Pump. 2x New Front Tyres and a reconditioned gearbox. 8 Months Tax / MOT remaining. Bad Points: Usual wear and tear to bodywork, sunroof inop and obviously the main thing wrong is the head gasket. Model: Vauxhall Omega CDX 1999 2.5TD Auto (BMW Engine)
Have a read of the sellers guide to see what its worth it wiil take you fifteen minutes to do what it tells you, but it will save you time in the long run. then as a rule of thump taken from a quote made by a directer of one of Britain's leading auctions, damage devalues the car by three time the cost of the repair. You need to collect the infomation including what it would cost to repair, so you can put this in your advert. Or if its worth it have the repairs done before you sell it.
