Carpet Drying Service

Carpet Drying Service

Fast professional car carpet drying service. If you have wet carpets, we'll return your car clean and dry.

If you have had a leak in your car, it's been caught in a flash flood, or you have driven through a deep ford, and now you have wet carpets, you will need to get your car dried before it causes other issues such as mould, corrosion and electrical problems.

Unfortunately, your car won't dry on its own. Driving along with the windows open and the air conditioning on could take years to dry the car out. Meanwhile, that water will be causing a host of other problems, mould, mildew, corrosion and costly electrical problems.

We return your car clean and dry

We begin by decontaminating your car using antimicrobial disinfectant, which will make it safe to work on and prevent mould and mildew smells. Then we remove the seats and lift the carpet, so we can extract any standing water which is under the carpet. With this done, we can let our powerful hot air blowers and dehumidifiers do their work, pulling all moisture out of the car. We then put the car back together and give it back to you clean, fresh and dry.

We are happy to help with cars that have been caught in fresh water floods or driven through fords, or left the roof down in the rain. If your car has a leak, and you haven't yet fixed it, please see our Water Leak Detection Service.

Drying Service FAQ

Can I save money by not having the decontamination?

It is very important that the car be decontaminated. Once a car has got wet, all sorts of nasty stuff can begin to grow inside it. Breathing in mould spores can be dangerous, so we insist on decontamination for our safety as well as yours.
The product we use is low-odour and is the same product used to disinfect hospitals. It is safe and very effective.

Can I claim on my insurance?

You probably can, it doesn't hurt to ask. If you later consider your excess and decide it's not worth claiming, they won't penalize you just for asking. Therefore, it's worth asking at the beginning in case.

The tide came in and flooded my car, can you help?

Unfortunately, salt water contamination comes with a host of additional problems. We would recommend contacting your insurance company and get them to send an assessor. The prognosis is generally not good.

How long does it take to dry my car?

We will generally need your car for 2-3 days. We will spend a day decontaminating, dismantling and cleaning the car. It will dry overnight, and then we will put it back together the next day. Executive cars with very thick carpets and a lot of water may need an additional overnight dry.
