Dent Removal Question from Antony Antzouli
Submitted on 16/07/2008
I have a medium/large dent on the boot of my Rover 214. Although it seems from the photo that the paint has cracked, it has not on the actual dent itself, and in any case I am not too fussed about the paintwork, i just want the dent seen to. Even if it cannot be completely removed, any improvement would be appreciated. Please let me know if this dent can be improved and if so how much it would cost me. Thanks Model: Rover 214si
I'm afraid we have to work to standards. Although we could make a slight improvement, it wouldn't be anything we'd be happy with.
If you would are happy just to have the dent pushed out and suffer the cracked paintwork, maybe you can attempt it yourself? We certainly don't have any magic solutions to this kind of damage, so we wouldn't be able to do anything you couldn't do yourself.
