Dent Removal Question from Richard Gunn

Submitted on 15/11/2010

Hello, I unfortunately put a dent in a work colleague's car, picture attached. Would you be able to let me know how much this would cost to repair? We are in Bromley by Bow, East London. The paint doesn't appear to be broken Model: BMW 3 series

If you had done it to your own car, then I would have suggested we try Paintless dent removal, because you may have lived with a compromise and I think we have a sixty percent chance of getting an eighty percent improvement. However, we only have about a ten percent chance of getting that dent ninety nine percent better, if that makes any sense.

So I would suggest you have a couple of choices. You could come here on what we call a piggyback basis, which would mean that we would charge you for trying, then go straight on to Kraftwork. for what we call a Midi Repair. Or you could go directly to Kraftwork (or another good body shop). Kraftwork would charge you about £200 to £250 plus vat for a very good job. Just note that if they have to respray the door to get the colors right, then it would be approximately  another £125 plus vat. To confirm whether the door would need to be blended, they would need to see it.
