Dent Removal Question from Douglas McGregor

How much to repair this dent in door. Model: Audi A4 Cabriolet

I would say that that is such a big dent that we only have about a 10% chance of getting that 80% better or more. So my suggestion is would be to take it straight to a good body shop. Have a read of this page and then go through the links to Kraftwork who should be able to help you. If you remember your question number that would be useful.
The problem with a dent like that, is that you need good access all over the whole size of the dent. And in a door I'm afraid you're just not going to get it. There are all kinds of things inside that door, including window winding mechanisms, and door locks as well as safety bars etc.
Sorry I couldn't give you the answer you may been looking for, however Kraftwork are very good and they may still be able to save that panel, which may mean that you may find it more economically viable to pay for it yourself, rather than go through the insurance. However you should be able to make up your mind when you have the figures in front of you. Kraftwork can do work through the insurance company as well if you want.
Good luck
