Odour Removal Question from Ash
Submitted on 05/10/2011
I have just had my car professionally cleaned, although they have told me they used a water vacuum cleaner after shampooing my interior - they soaked my seats!! this was on monday and not with is wednesday eve and it is still damp and beginning to smell.. What can i do?!! iv already taken it back to them to complain but they said leave it for another 48hours and if the smell hasnt gone they will clean the car again....!! how am i covered for this as mould may have started setting in and aparently it is very hard to get rid of the smell of damp. Your advice would be greatly apreciated!!! Model: VW Golf gti
You need to dry it quickly. Give it a good rub with a towel, then get some air to it. If it ends up smelling, then take it back .
Sorry I don't have an easy solution, but it doesn't sound like they know about Odour Removal. If your not happy to go back, then you may want to call us. We maybe able to do an accident clean. Just half an hour should do the job. We will use a deodorant that deals with off/stale water.
