Dent Removal Question from julie cope

Submitted on 10/06/2008

i have a large dent - football size in the front/centre of my bonnet. Just above the reg plate. Is this removable? It looks like I've been reversed into and I'm not sure if I should claim or get it repaired. No paints been chipped. Model: Corsa Breeze 1389

We can sometime remove these, but without seeing it, I can't say for sure. You could pop in and see us and we'll be able to have a look, or save yourself the journey and send us 3-4 photos. Either upload them to our form, or MMS them to 07939 507 500.

If we can do it, then because it's so large and will take so much work, it wouldn't be our standard price for small dents, so we would give you a quote. It's likely to be around £60-£140, depending on how long it takes -- this is compared to a bodyshop repair which for a bonnet is likely to be about £300.

I can't really advice you about insurance claims, this would probably depend on your policy and the effect it would have on your no claims bonus.
