Leather Restoration Question from Mark Wiseman

Submitted on 20/04/2013

DIY Could you quote me to repair my drivers seat base as it has wear, and a small hole (due to wear) just above the piping at the door side. Also the seat base has a few scratches (only 2 that I am particularly concerned about) on the upwards face, centre rear of the base. The car is based in Flitwick, Bedfordshire and has covered approx. 115k miles. As it's not too bad I was considering DIY but would appreciate a quote as I am a little reluctant to risk DIY.Thanks, Mark. Model: Range Rover 2002 on

Hi Mark

Thank you for you question.

After looking at your photos and getting a second opinion, we think the base bolster needs the attention of Trimmer, Click here for our recommendations. Our methods (connollising) may not last because f the hole and this being a high wear area.

I wouldn't suggest DIY unless your completely confident and have had previous experience.

I would think the rest of what you need doing can be Connollised, call us if you want to book the Range Rover in.
