This Passat had a blocked sunroof drainage pipe on the passenger side. The other major issue was just blocked drainage on the scuttle, this will cause it to fill with water and overflow back into the cabin through the pollen filter.
This car is getting to the age where the rear air vents and the door membranes will perish and begin to leak, and although there doesn't seem to be a problem at the moment, we would recommend getting these done.
