Ford B-Max 2013 | Water Leak Detection Video
This B-Max had already been to a garage for diagnosis, but the car was still wet, so the customer brought the car to us for specialist water leak diagnostics.
We found that the large rubber around the door opening was loose on both sides. We also discovered that water was passing through the door and running down the back of the door card instead of flowing through the drainage holes at the bottom of the door. The rear air vents were also weak and letting in water.
Solution: We resealed a panel inside the door. We did both sides, even though only the driver's side was leaking. The door rubbers were sealed in place and the rear air vents were replaced with new ones.
