Mini Cooper SD 2011 | Water Leak Detection
This Mini has a leak through the A-pillar. We think at this stage that this is because the clips, fixtures and fittings which go through the pillar from the inside are leaking.
This can sometimes happen when over time the plastic clips shrink and harden so they no longer form a good seal.
Solution: We will replace any standard type clips, and seal the rest. This should stop water getting past them. We will then dry the car, it has already been treated at this point with anti-microbial, anti-fungal, etc.
