Can I polish over ceramic coating?

Quick answer: You can polish over a ceramic coating, but you shouldn’t for maintenance because polish is abrasive and will thin or remove the coating. If you need defect removal, plan to reapply coating to that area after polishing. For routine gloss, use a coating-safe topper/sealant and keep up with proper wash and decontamination.

We would not recommend this and if you have an issue which would lead you to believe that your car needs polishing, we suggest you take it back to a professional to let them deal with it.

A ceramic coating makes your paintwork considerably harder, and so very aggressive polishing products will be required to correct problems in ceramic coated cars. And once the problems are corrected, ceramic coating needs to be re-applied.
