Why should you never wax your car again?
Quick answer: If your car has a modern protective coating, you don’t need to wax it. Polymer sealants — and especially ceramic/graphene coatings — give long-lasting protection; maintain them with compatible top-up products rather than traditional wax. Professional coatings are semi-permanent and can last for years with periodic top-ups.
You don't have to ever wax your car again if you have a sealant instead of a wax. "Never wax your car again!" was a popular advertising slogan twenty or so years ago with companies selling polymer sealants. And while it had some truth to is, these products did benefit from top-up products which were, much like, a wax.
Newer products like ceramic coatings also mean you don't need to wax your car, and really shouldn't. These too can have top up products which might be like a wax - some of which are professional application only. So, you will never have to wax your car again if you pay somebody else to do it! In all seriousness, Ceramic and Graphite professional coatings are semi-permanent, they would only wear off very slowly and would last years, with top-up they could last indefinitely, so you really would never have to wash your car again.
