Keep the receipts

If you have a lease car, and you have any work done what-so-ever, ensure you have documentation.

When the car is serviced, make sure they stamp the service book. If you have tires changed, ensure that they are the correct tires, fitted correctly, and you have paperwork. You don't want to be charged for missing servicing that you didn't miss.

You should also keep receipts for any repairs you have had done, such as scuffs on bumpers or crash repair. If the repair wasn't done properly, you can still be charged for it. If you have your own end-of-lease inspection, and we note a repair which is not acceptable, you may be able to return to where you had it done and get them to correct it.
