Can I use Milton Fluid to clean my roof?
Yes you can. Milton Fluid contains Sodium hypochlorite, making it a mild bleaching agent. It will oxidize organic matter, helping to break it down.
Roof manufacturers have advised that weak bleach solutions are safe to use on the main body of hoods, but not near stitching on seams.
However, products like Milton Fluid are not the magic bullet for removing green from roofs, and don't work significantly better than purpose made fabric hood shampoos.
