Can I dry my car with a chamois or will this damage the sealant?
Drying your car with a chamois leather will not damage your the coating. Ceramic coatings are far tougher than wax coatings, and chamois is safe to use on those.
Many people will argue that a chamois leather is still the best way to clean a car, although I might argue that it's the hardest. As with synthetic leathers, terry towels or microfibre cloths; they are safe to use as long as they are clean. If dirt or grip particles become trapped in the leather, wiping them over your car will cause scratch marks (wash marks). This is avoided by properly cleaning your car before drying.
