I have tar spots, how can I remove them without removing the paint sealant?
Paint sealants are fairly resistant to solvents, especially ceramic coatings, and so tar removing products are safe to use.
There are many ways to remove tar spots, plenty of solvents will do the job. However, we recommend you buy a purpose made tar remover from a respected brand.
This advice applies to any car, regardless of coating, because they will have ensured that the solvents used are hot enough to remove tar while minimizing the risk of damaging paintwork or trim.
