What happens if a ceramic coating gets wet before it cures?

Water droplets on the surface of a ceramic coating could theoretically affect the rate at which it cures, by changing temperature and exposure to air. This could lead to water spots being permanently marked into the surface of the paintwork.

After twenty four hours, the coating is sufficiently cured to prevent this, and will be safe from rain and dew. It will continue to fully cure over the space of a few days. However, we would advise against washing your car for at least a week.
