Do I need to wash a car with a ceramic coating?
You do need to wash a car with a ceramic coating, as it will get dirty. However, because the ceramic coating is so smooth, dirt has very little to cling to, and when it rains, the hydrophobic effect of the coating will mean the water rolls right off, and this may take much of the dirt with it. So you will have to clean your car less frequently because your car stays cleaner for longer.
Even though dirt and water rolls off your car, there will be areas where dirt can collect, for example around car badges or the bottoms of windows. You will learn which areas collect dirt and give them special attention when washing.
