Can a ceramic coating be applied to any type of car paint?
Yes, a ceramic coating can be applied to any kind of automotive paintwork, including solid colours on vintage vehicles and 2-pack paint on alloy wheels. Additionally, it can be applied to any hard surface such as plastics, glass, metal and varnished wood.
The caveat is that we would not recommend applying it over paint which has not fully cured, and it can take several weeks for paintwork to fully harden and all solvents to evaporate. Applying any kind of sealant to fresh paintwork too early could cause pop or blushing.
