Our exterior detail prepares your car's exterior, and is an essential step in the process if you are having paintwork restoration, polishing and ceramic sealants.

Bringing the shine back is what it's all about, making your car look as good, or even better than the day you got it. We can give you that new car feeling at a fraction of the cost of a new car.

Machine Polishing Paintwork Correction
Two stage machine polishing comes as standard.

Because New Again is a coatings specialist, this detail service is designed to serve as a base for applying a polymer sealant or ceramic coating because we believe every car should have paint protection. Our two stage polishing system comes as standard, this is enough to create a high shine to the majority of cars, however if your car has deeper scratches or areas of concern, these services can be selected from the Paintwork Correction menu. For older cars, we can carry out full car paint restoration, polishing the car until it's like new.

The car is cleaned with clay, a sticky block which removes light fallout such as metallic particles from brake disks and exhaust. Then the car is machine polished using a medium compound to remove micro-scratches, then finished with a fine polish to give a mirror - smooth surface. For both stages, we use a dual-action machine polisher which oscillates to prevent buffer marks. The panel is then cleaned with alcohol to remove any oils and silicones from the polish so that your paintwork is ready to accept a paint protection coating.

For Older or Neglected Cars This is our most intensive correction system, reserved for older cars or vehicles with heavily weathered, scratched, or oxidized paint. Starting with a heavy compound to level down deep scratches and heavy swirling, we progressively refine the finish through six stages to restore colour, depth, and mirror-like clarity.
