Guarantees
We offer clear, honest, and transferable guarantees on all our services — so you always know where you stand, and what to expect if anything goes wrong.
Every service we offer comes with a guarantee. If something we’ve done goes wrong and it’s our fault, we’ll put it right. No forms, no red tape, and no fine print — just honest service backed by clear guarantees.
General Repairs Guarantee
We stand by our work. Any general repairs we do are guaranteed for a full year, and any parts we supply are covered for three years against faults.
If something we’ve fixed goes wrong because of our work or the part fails, we’ll sort it — no fuss, no charge.
What’s not covered:
- Parts you supplied yourself
- Problems not related to the original repair
- Normal wear-and-tear
- Damage from accidents, rust, or misuse
- Things that go wrong because other recommended work wasn’t done
- Temporary fixes, i.e., temporary touch up to prevent rust.
About diagnostics:
This guarantee covers actual repairs — not investigations or diagnostics, unless we went on to fix something and that fix failed.
Transferable Guarantee
If you sell the car, the guarantee goes with it.
Our SMART Repair Guarantee
Our SMART repairs are guaranteed for 3 years.
While many of these jobs are done by our trusted subcontractors, we only work with skilled tradesmen who share our values — the kind of people who take real pride in their work. We’ve spent decades learning the difference between a quick fix and a proper repair, and we hold everyone we work with to our own high standards.
We’ll also be straight with you: not everything can or should be SMART repaired. Some companies push it too far and end up delivering poor results. We won’t. If there’s a better way to fix it, we’ll tell you — even if it means not taking the job.
What’s covered:
- Paintwork, trims, and interior SMART repairs carried out by us or on our behalf
- Any failure due to poor workmanship or materials
What’s not covered:
- Damage from new accidents, wear and tear, or rust
- Areas outside the original repair
- Jobs we advised were marginal or temporary fixes, i.e., plastic sticker to prevent leaks until parts become available.
Transferable Guarantee
if you sell the car, the guarantee goes with it.
*If we believe a SMART repair isn’t the right solution, we’ll always recommend a better one — even if it means sending you elsewhere.
Grey Area? You’re Still Covered
Some repairs fall into a grey area — where it’s unclear whether a SMART repair will work well. If we agree it’s worth a try, we’ll go ahead only on the condition that if we can’t improve the damage by at least 75%, you don’t pay.
30-Day Upgrade Guarantee
If we carry out a repair, and you’re not fully satisfied with the result, you have 30 days to upgrade to a different type of repair (for example, a cosmetic repair to a midi-repair) - and you only pay the difference, once that alternative has been carried out.
Water Leak Detection & Repair Guarantee
We’ll be honest — water leaks can be complicated. It’s not always possible to find every leak on the first visit. That’s why we take a thorough, step-by-step approach to detection and repair.
If you book our leak detection service, we guarantee to find and identify at least one source of water ingress. All leak repairs carried out by us are guaranteed for 1 year.
If we’ve fitted replacement parts as part of the repair, those parts are guaranteed against fault for 3 years.
Still leaking?
If your car continues to leak after we’ve worked on it, just bring it back. We’ll recheck everything, and if the issue is our work or parts, we’ll fix it free of charge.
Sometimes a first leak has to be found and repaired before other leaks become evident, which is why we cover our process. Some leaks can be intermittent and cannot easily be identified.
What’s not covered:
- We do not guarantee that we will find every leak at the first attempt or that more leaks won't appear later
- Leaks from areas we didn’t repair
- New leaks that develop elsewhere
- Problems caused by corrosion, poor bodywork, accident damage, or blocked drains we advised to clear
Free Dry
If you do need to come back, we won't make you pay for the drying all over again. We'll dry your car for free.
Transferable Guarantee
This guarantee stays with the vehicle, even if you sell it.
Paint Coating Guarantee
Some of the ceramic, graphene, and other paint coatings we use come with a manufacturer warranty — often involving online registration and paperwork. You’re welcome to do that if you like.
But in practice, if anything ever goes wrong, it comes back to us. So we keep it simple:
We guarantee your paint coating for the stated life of the product, covering both product failure and poor application.
No forms to fill in, no red tape — and you don’t even need to keep a receipt. Your car’s registration number is on our system, and that’s all we need.
What’s covered:
- Our range of professional semi-permanent, ceramic, graphene and 2-year+ polymer or acrylic coatings.
- Stated life of the product, as written on the respective product page.
- Loss of hydrophobic effect (water repellency) within the stated guarantee period
- Peeling, hazing, or failure due to poor application
- Failure due to defective product
What’s not covered:
- Does not apply to wax, and synthetic wax-polymer products (See below).
- Any coating with under a 2-year stated life (See below)
- Damage from polishing, machine buffing, or waxes applied over the coating
- Improper washing or use of aggressive chemicals
- Paint damage from stone chips, deep scratches, or accidents
- Neglect, including leaving bird droppings or tree sap unwashed
What about Wax Products?
Waxes and synthetic sealants are a bit different. We offer options with a stated life of 3, 6, or 12 months — but the reality is, how long they last depends on things like weather, mileage, and how often your car is washed.
That said, we guarantee all our waxes and sealants will perform for at least 3 months under normal conditions. After that, you may start to see a gradual decline — especially in hot summers or on high-mileage vehicles.
If you’re after longer-term protection, ask us about our ceramic or graphene coatings instead.
Transferable Guarantee
This guarantee stays with the car. If you sell it, the coating is still covered for the remainder of its stated life.
Convertible Hood Protection Guarantee
We guarantee our convertible hood treatments for the stated life of the product — whether that’s 6 months or 2 years — as long as the hood is properly maintained.
Each product is designed to create a water-repellent barrier that resists soaking, algae, lichen, and general grime. When freshly applied, you’ll often see water bead into droplets — but over time, dirt and dust can reduce this beading effect. That doesn’t mean the coating has failed.
The real test? After rain, a treated hood should feel damp to the touch, not soaked through. If the fabric becomes heavy and waterlogged again, it’s time for a reapplication.
What’s covered:
- Failure of the water-repellent coating within the stated guarantee period
- Premature wear due to faulty application or defective product
What’s not covered:
- Damage caused by tree sap, bird droppings, or leaving the hood dirty for extended periods
- Mechanical damage (cuts, tears, abrasions)
- Fading or shrinkage of old fabric
Transferable Guarantee
This guarantee stays with the car, not the owner — so if you sell it, it’s still covered for the remaining life of the product.
Headlight Restoration Guarantee
We restore hazy, oxidised headlights by polishing away the damaged surface and applying a protective ceramic coating. This not only improves visibility and appearance — it helps stop them going cloudy again.
We guarantee this coating for 2 years. If your headlights become hazy again during this time due to oxidation, we’ll re-polish and re-coat them at no cost.
What’s covered:
- Re-oxidation or hazing of the headlight surface within 2 years
- Failure of the ceramic coating due to product or application fault
What’s not covered:
- Cracks, pitting, or internal condensation inside the headlight unit
- Stone chips or impact damage
- Damage from abrasive cleaning or chemical spills
Transferable Guarantee
This guarantee stays with the vehicle. If you sell the car, the headlights are still covered for the remainder of the guarantee period.
Industry Standards & Code of Conduct
We don’t just ask you to trust us — we also follow the standards set by recognised trade associations.
Our team adheres to the Codes of Conduct laid out by the associations we belong to. These include commitments to fair pricing, honest advertising, good customer service, and responsible complaint handling.
It's all part of our promise to do things properly — and be accountable.
All Guarantees Are Transferable
Our guarantees are tied to the vehicle, not the owner. So if you sell your car or pass it on to a family member, the guarantee still stands. Just let us know and we’ll update our records.
This also means our repairs meet the standards set by the BVRLA for lease vehicle repairs.
Transparency You Can Trust
We keep you fully informed throughout your service. All work is documented with photos and videos, and we send regular updates — including video reports where appropriate — so you’re never left guessing.
Everything is logged on your invoice and stored in our system. So if you ever need to check what was done and when, we’ve got the records.
"What the large print giveth, the small print taketh away"
We hate small print as much as you do. We keep it to a minimum and we keep things fair. If you have any questions about our services, don't hesitate to ask.
What’s the Difference Between a Guarantee and a Warranty?
A warranty is usually a formal, legally binding contract — often full of terms, exclusions, paperwork, and small print.
A guarantee is a promise. It’s backed by our reputation and our commitment to putting things right if they go wrong.
Some of the products we supply — like protective coatings — come with manufacturer warranties. These often require online registration, usually by scanning a QR code. Many customers never register them. Some warranties aren’t transferable, and some products don’t come with manufacturer warranties at all.
To make things simpler and avoid unnecessary paperwork, we decided to provide our own transferable guarantees. We’d rather rely on common sense than clauses and fine print.
Why We Put It All in Writing
Under UK consumer law, any claim we make about a product or service becomes part of the contract — especially if a customer relies on it when making their decision.
So it doesn’t really matter whether we call it a guarantee, a promise, or a warranty — what matters is:
- We make clear, unambiguous statements
- You see those statements before or at the time of purchase
- They’re specific, time-bound, and conditional (when necessary)
That’s why we’ve written all our guarantees here on the website — in plain English, with no vague language, so you know exactly where you stand.
