Peugeot 3008 GT Line | Matrix Blue Ceramic Coating Video

This 3008GT is a lovely colour, and today we will be putting on a 3-year protective ceramic coating of Matrix Blue.

The car was a little dirty, but still quite shiny. Even so, we will machine polish this car using our two-stage double buffing system. We will make it shinier than when brand new. As James says, it's what we do best.

Matrix Blue is perfect for people who will only keep their car for a few years before trading it in. Obviously, after three years, the ceramic coating won't suddenly stop working, and in our experience they tend to last years past the guarantee, but when it comes time to sell your car, you can have the exterior detailed and give it a top-up (yes, Autosmart do a top-up product for Matrix Blue) and you can pass on the benefits to the new owner. Finding a new owner should be no problem with a car that looks this good.

The real benefit is that the car will look this good the whole time you own it, and be easy to clean. Ceramic coatings are so glossy that dirt has  difficulty sticking to them, so they stay cleaner for longer, you spend less time washing your car and more time doing the things you enjoy.  It's one less thing to worry about.

The hardest part of cleaning a car is the wheels because brake dust gets on them and electro-chemically bonds, which means you usually have to clean them very regularly to prevent build up. A coating on the wheels helps prevent metal partials sticking.
