Car Spillage Clean-up | Audi A1 Video
Paint spilled in a car can be an expensive problem to resolve unless you get to it quickly. Emulsion can be removed more easily when wet.
For this reason, it is important that you act fast. Either get the car to us right away, or act to keep the paint wet, we have an article giving advice on how to do this without making the problem worse.
You may be wondering if you should make an insurance claim, you might also consider going back to where you bought the paint and asking them if they are prepared to pay. But worry about all that later, we can help you through it. By getting the car to us quickly, we can keep the costs low.
It can be difficult to estimate how much a clean-up will cost until we have started work. So our initial car paint spillage service is three hours inclusive of materials, at which point we will send you a video of our progress, plus an estimate.
In the case of this Audi, after three hours, it was estimated the car would need a further two hours plus our drying service because the car was wet. The customer agreed to this in this case.
There is another video coming up where the spillage was more extensive and would have taken more hours of cleaning up the details, but the customer needed the car back and so settled for 90% improvement. We like to think we got it better than that.
