Paint Spill Clean | BMW 1 Video
Here we have a paint spillage clean-up. Every spring, people call us having had this kind of accident on their way back from the DIY centre.
There is no getting away from the fact that this is a bit of a disaster, but we can fix it as long as we get to it quickly, while the paint is still dry. As you can see from the video, it is labour intensive and takes quite a few man hours. However, the cost of a clean-up is far less than the cost of replacing the interior.
These video clips are what we send to the customer as updates of our progress. They also serve as a record, so if you are claiming on your insurance (or the DIY centre's insurance), they can see the extent of the damage and how much time it took to clean. You don't have to wait, get the car to us as soon as you can, so we can get started and clean the paint out of your car while it's still wet. This makes our life much easier, cuts down on time and costs.
If you want to know more about how we do it, how to stop the paint from trying, and who pays, we have an article on paint spillages.
