Using a moisture meter and an endoscope, we traced multiple leak sources—perished door membranes and seals, a deteriorated tailgate rubber, rear light seal failures, and poorly sealed rear air vents. Accurate diagnosis is step one; long-term reliability is the goal. We replaced all four door membranes rather than just the visibly leaking one, preventing near-term recurrences. The rear lights and bumper were removed to access hidden vents; we then resealed with a professional waterproof sealant for superior water resistance, and renewed the tailgate seal. 

We lifted and suspended carpets and seats to allow hot air to circulate from specialist dryers for several nights—vital for drying moisture trapped in underfelt and sound deadening. After drying, we carried out a deep interior clean and odour treatment to remove mould spores and leave the cabin fresh, safe, and comfortable.

Quality Assurance: Rain-Arch Testing & Real-World Checks

To validate the repair, the Fiesta underwent a simulated heavy downpour in our rain arch test. Only after a dry result do we consider a vehicle weatherproof.
