Bentley Cabriolet | Roof Clean & Re-waterproof Video

This Bentley has come to us for a roof clean and re-waterproofing. It isn't too dirty and may have been cleaned properly before, we have certainly seen far worse.

However, there are a couple of areas of wear that have resulted in some small holes on the near side. 

Dirt and grit in your hood causes severe wear to your hood and will be the ruin of it if it isn't cleaned on a fairly regular basis. We would recommend getting your hood cleaned by a convertible roof specialist, or at least a detailing company that offers a convertible roof cleaning service, in the spring, before the sun comes out, and you want to put the top down. It's folding it back when it's dirty that causes the wear. 

As you can see in this video, there is also an Audi which didn't get to us in time and needed a replacement roof which cost £1800 inclusive of VAT. We will do another video on this car later because it's a wonderful example. It's a fine looking car in excellent condition, but was let down by the state of the roof.

We did a repair on these holes, it certainly isn't an invisible repair, but it will at least prevent the holes from getting any worse. After the hood was cleaned and the holes repaired, it was given our 2-year hydrophobic nano-coating.
