Mercedes CLK Hood Restoration Video
In this video, we have a Mercedes CLK cabriolet which has a problem with its convertible hood. There's mould, lichen and stains.
We show the transformation of this car, as we wash the fabric hood and also add a hydrophobic coating. If a hood becomes two dirty and starts to deteriorate, it could cost £1500-£2000, to purchase a new one and have it fitted. The cost of having this hood cleaned and refinished was £330, and took a day (we kept the car overnight).
