Audi A5 | Cabriolet Roof Clean Video

This Audi is a lovely looking car but was let down by the convertible roof. Somebody has tried to clean it with a pressure washer, but as you can see at the beginning, this isn't an effective way to clean a hood and can cause damage.

There is unfortunately a bit of wear where the hood folds caused because dirt, and grit which gets into the fabric is abrasive. We can't undo the wear, but cleaning the dirt out of the hood will prevent it getting worse, and these dark lines will be less noticeable once the weatherproof coating it on, because that tends to make the hood darker.

The car was cleaned and given a coat of wax, so it now looks great, but this isn't all we did. Convertibles have extra drains and gutters which can get blocked, so all these were cleaned out. We also treated the rubbers with Krytox , a special lubricant which rejuvenates them, so they can create a good seal so that they won't leak.
