Cabriolet Roof Clean | Mazda MX5 Video
Still in good condition but looking rather green, the convertible roof of this MX5 is covered with lichen which discolours it, so it's time to have the hood cleaned.
Once cleaned thoroughly with our mechanical brushes, the roof is left under our canopy, where we have a fan that helps to dry it more quickly. It is important that the fabric roof is dried out before we apply our 2-year weatherproof coating.
The nano-coating is then applied and again, dried before the car is returned to the customer. This coating is very waxy and helps darken up the hood making it look new, it repels water, so the hood doesn't stay soggy when it rains, and in addition to this, it contains antifungals to prevent moss and lichen growing in the future.
This customer took advantage of our special offer, so the exterior of the car was detailed for free and coated with one of our special waxes meaning the car left here looking stunning and ready for a cruise down Southend sea front.
