If you were wondering if we can clean and re-waterproof red fabric roofs, here's the answer. We most certainly can, and they clean up just as well as dark hoods.
These light coloured roofs show stains, moss, lichen and dirt more than the black roofs and as you can see this cabriolet roof is very dirty. But after a good clean, we were able to make it like new again.
This Fiat had the 6-month protection which isn't as thick and glossy as the two year which really does darken up the colours and restore the finish, but even the 6-month has done a wonderful job of evening out the tone.
This car is now set for winter, and the protective coating will repel water, preventing the roof from remaining soggy, water will roll off, taking more of the dirt with it. We recommended cleaning regularly and once in a while getting your cabriolet roof professionally cleaned.
