Ceramic coatings are all the rage, don't you know? That's why we have four in the workshop at the same time, having ceramic coatings.

This video features a couple of cars which are having the Matrix ceramic coatings, Matrix Black and Matrix Blue.

The Volkswagen Golf was fairly new with good paintwork, so we ended up just giving it a two stage polish, which we're sure the customer was happy about because this saves them money.  We won't do more work than a car needs, and we're mindful of saving money. After all, that's what ceramic coatings are really about. It's nice to have a really shiny car and look great when you are cruising about, but they also protect your car, helping it to maintain value. Nano-coatings will pay you back, and it's wise to protect everything you can, which is why this car also had a heat-proof coating on the wheel which protects against hot brake dust, and fabric protector on the interior.

The Mercedes was a little older, but we made it like new again with a four stage-buff, and we also re-polished the headlights

Matrix Black is an 8-year coating, which is a great idea if you plan to keep the car for the foreseeable future. We believe these coatings last longer than the guarantee anyway, but they can also be extended with a periodical coating of Reloaded which is a top-up.

Matrix Blue is the 3-year coating and is proving to be our most popular ceramic coating.  If, like many people, you change cars every three years, this is the ideal budget friendly coating, but should you wish to keep your car a big longer you can extend the life of it with Reloaded should you feel you need it.

Which ceramic coating should I buy?

You should buy the ceramic coating which you feel best suits your requirements. Matrix Blue is our most popular coating because it's a three-year coating and that's how long many people believe they will keep their car. If you know you are going to keep your car longer, perhaps forever, they maybe choose one of the longer life ceramic coatings.
More important than the brand or product, is selecting the right company to apply them. Only ever buy a ceramic coating from an approved application centre with adequate facilities and good reputation.
