The customer took these first videos showing his car. It's on those bright, sunny days that you can really see that your paintwork isn't like new.
You can see that as sunlight reflects off the body work, it catches all those micro-scratches which are caused by washing. Dirt contains a lot of grit and as you wash the car it will scratch the paintwork, and eventually you will get holograms, spider-webs, swirls and trails... there are many names for them.
Because this kind of scratch is so light, it is possible to polish them out using a machine polisher, which is what this customer asked us to do. It isn't possible to polish out deeper scratches, scuffs and stone chips, but they can be improved and filled in with a touch-up paint. With this done, the car was coated in a 3-month polymer wax.
